I’m a freelance writer, editor and copywriter based in Essex and London with a passion for all things food, drink, travel, wellness and culture.
As a journalist, I write for a whole host of print and online outlets including: The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Independent, Evening Standard, BBC Good Food, Time Out, Co-op magazine, Great British Food, Speciality Food, Gin magazine, Ginned!, Veggie, Great British Chefs, Drift, Natural Health, Health & Wellbeing, Soul & Spirit, The Vegetarian, Homemaker, Vitality magazine, LoveEXPLORING.com, LoveFOOD.com, Reader’s Digest, MadeforMums, Muddy Stilettos, Mother & Baby and more.
As a copywriter, I’ve crafted copy for some of the world’s biggest media and tech brands, high street retailers, coffee shop chains, charities and start-ups including: BBC, iTunes, Easyjet, Wizz Air, Caffé Nero, Co-op, Superdrug, Holland & Barrett, LloydsPharmacy, Vitality Insurance, Craft Gin Club, SEPA and The Vegetarian Society to list but a few examples.
I’m the former Managing Editor of Co-op Magazine, Editor of Vitality magazine (Spring 2023 edition), Deputy Editor of Great British Food magazine and Craft Gin Club’s Ginned! magazine and I’ve also been a Contributing Editor at Veggie.
I’m a member of the Guild of Food Writers, and I’ve sat on the judging panel for a number of food awards including Ocado’s Next Top Supplier 2017, the Great British Food Awards 2017 and 2018 and The National Fish & Chip Awards 2017.
I’ve reviewed hundreds of restaurants and hotels across the UK and beyond, and I’m a freelance travel writer for Great British Food. I’ve contributed to a book on street food and also frequently appear on BBC Radio to discuss foodie topics, and I’ve even made recipes on-air. I’ve been a food and prop stylist for a number of photoshoots for Great British Food magazine, Veggie magazine and Homemaker magazine.
I’m also regularly called upon to pen consumer reviews for outlets such as The Independent, BBC Good Food, Evening Standard and MadeforMums.
